Fundraising

At Maldwyn we are a registered charity number 1001917.

Throughout the year we will do a range of different fundraising activities including things such as pyjamas day, name the teddy, themed events and bingo. Any support you can give us during these events would be very gratefully appreciated.

The purpose of any fundraising we do is to improve the nursery. We will look to do this by using any money raised and put it directly back into the nursery, in resources, equipment or activites for the children.

Get active week!

Each year at Maldwyn we have a hold a great active week in the spring. The purpose of this week is to highlight the benefit of exercise to children's wellbeing. Over the course of the week the children take part in different activities daily such as dance, walks, yoga and have even done a mud run in the past.

The week the children are given a challenge such as walking as far as they can and one year were able to walk around Wales TWICE!

The staff are also given a challenge during the week and one year scaled the three Welsh Peaks.

The week is an enjoyable week for everyone involved and a chance to get active and earn some money for the nursery which is then put back into resources for the children.

We are always looking for unique and fun ways to fundraise so please feel free to share any ideas which you may have.
